HAUSER & WIRTH AND MORETTI FINE ART ARE PLEASED TO COLLABORATE FOR A SECOND TIME ON A SHARED BOOTH FOR FRIEZE MASTERS. THIS YEAR, ARCHITECT AND INTERIOR DESIGNER LUIS LAPLACE WILL DESIGN AND CURATE THE BOOTH TO CREATE THE FICTIONAL DOMESTIC ENVIRONMENT OF AN ECLECTIC PRIVATE COLLECTOR IN THE MIDST OF THE FAIR. LAPLACE WILL USE THIS CONCEPT AS THE FRAMEWORK THROUGH WHICH TO COLLAPSE THE BOUNDARIES BETWEEN CONTEMPORARY ART, ANCIENT ARTEFACTS, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. HIS INTENTION IS TO CONJURE A SPACE IN WHICH ART CAN BE EXPERIENCED ON AN EMOTIONAL LEVEL, AS OPPOSED TO THROUGH THE CEREBRAL APPROACH OF A MUSEUM DISPLAY.
