The Galleria Moretti was founded in 1999 in Florence by Fabrizio Moretti. It opened to the public and private collectors with the inaugural exhibition From Bernardo Daddi to Giorgio Vasari and immediately distinguished itself with its specialization in Italian old masters paintings. From then on, art has collaborated on numerous projects curated by the gallery.
Moretti Fine Art LTD opened in London in 2005 and it became a point of reference for collectors who seek a confidential and discreet approach. In 2022, the gallery moved in the new building in duke streeet, St. James’s, in the nucleus of the Londom and international art market.
the gallery has been present at the most prestigious fine art exhibitions in Europe and the United States, including TEFAF (Maastricht and New York), Frieze Masters (London), and the Biennale di Palazzo Corsini (Florence). 
Throughout the years, the philanthropic activity of the gallery has allowed for the publication of monographs of Italian painters, including Spinello Aretino, Carlo Dolci, Bartolomeo della Gatta, Angelo Caroselli, Johannes Hispanus and Simone di Crocifissi. Moretti Fine Art also financed scholarships at several institutions and sponsored the restoration of various pictures, one of which is the significant Carmignano Visitation by Pontormo.
Moretti Fine Art is also a member of associazione antiquari d'italia, federazione italiana mercanti d'arte, associazione antiquari fiorentini, society of london art dealers and british antiques dealers association.
