On 19 October, Fabrizio Moretti, Margaret Schwartz and George Wachter hosted an intimate dinner at Sotheby's New York to celebrate the opening of Glazed: The Legacy of the Della Robbia, a special selling exhibition of nearly 20 pieces by the legendary Renaissance family of artisans at Sotheby’s. A long elegant table adorned with a charming Tuscan-themed still life of apples, lemons, artichokes and greenery was set up in our second-floor gallery, where, surrounded by the vividly coloured terracotta sculptures, guests enjoyed pasta e fagioli and swordfish alla Livornese along with Bollinger Champagne and other wines from Sotheby’s.
