Moretti Fine Art is pleased to present the charity fundraising event and photographic exhibition The Ethiopian Gaze, FEATURING PHOTOGRAPHS BY MARCO ALBIZZATI, in support of Strawberry Fields. The event will take place on 24 march, from 6.00 to 9.00 PM, at our LONDON premises.
Founded in 2015, Strawberry Fields is an Italian non-profit organisation dedicated to the protection of fundamental human rights, with a particular focus on children and families living in conditions of social and economic vulnerability. Active primarily in Ethiopia, the organisation develops long-term initiatives centred on education, nourishment and access to basic resources, working in close collaboration with local communities.
At the heart of Strawberry Fields lies a clear and pragmatic vision: to foster sustainable opportunities rather than short-term relief. Through the support of schools, orphanages and educational programmes, the organisation strives to ensure that access to learning and essential care may become a stable foundation upon which individuals can build their own futures.
All proceeds from the event will be dedicated to the development of a Primary Hospital at ECUSTA – Higher Learning Institute in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The project entails the construction of a healthcare facility spanning over 5,400 square metres, designed to provide clinical, specialist and high-complexity medical services, alongside professional training programmes for local medical staff.
