PALAZZO BRANCACCIO
Via Merulana, 248 - Roma
29 September - 2 October
Arte e Collezionismo a Roma be housed in Palazzo Brancaccio, a princely palace built in 1880 by the architect Gaetano Koch on commission from the Brancaccio princes, one of the oldest families of the Neapolitan patriciate, chosen for its beauty, the uniqueness of the halls and the marvelous gardens and for its strategic position, a few steps from the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, reachable by car or on foot, with a short walk from Termini Station.
The choice of Rome as the venue for the first of a series of events, which it is hoped will renew the centrality of the Italian art market in the world, indicates the will to fit into the institutional fabric of the city and into that cosmopolitan and dynamic cultural environment which it has always animated the capital.
