From 10 to 15 October 2022, Moretti Fine Art Monaco in collaboration with Monaco Disease Power presents the second edition of the exhibition Regards d’Ailleurs, which are shown paintings made by youngsters suffering from autistic disorders and mental disabilities.
This second edition Regards d’Ailleurs, Lumières et couleurs d’un monde interior is focused on more intimate creations that express the travel and vacation dreams of young autistic people. These emotions are once again highlighted by the magical setting of the Moretti gallery offered to the association by Mr Fabrizio Moretti.
Placed under the Honorary Presidency of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, Monaco Disease Power aims to help people with mental disabilities and/or autism and their families.
Monaco Disease Power, founded on June 15, 2007, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.
During these years, the association opened a Summer Center in Monaco which welcomes children and young adults with mental disabilities and/or autistic disorders.
The Center Aéré offers various socio-educational activities: creative workshops, hikes, swimming pool, sailing, climbing, yoga, gymnastics, museum visits, restaurant outings, ice rink, cinema, etc…
In 2013 and 2018, two houses for stays were built in the town of Annot (04): La Maison d’Amélie and La Maison des Copains. These houses offer people with disabilities a vacation spot in an appropriate architectural and social environment.
In 2023, Monaco Disease Power will build a third house, with two apartments included, designed to accommodate people suffering from sleep disorders. In this place people can participate in neurodevelopment courses, stay for medium and long periods, but also not use the accommodation. The capacity will be 12 people.
Furthermore, since 2017, Monaco Disease Power has organized every two years Les Assises du Mental Handicap et de l'Autisme with Professor Catherine Barthélémy and the Scientific Interest Group, Autism and Neuro-Development Disorders Inserm, which brings together scientists of international renown.
