Moretti Fine Art presents a charity fundraising event and private view of the photographic exhibition The Ethiopian Gaze, in support of Strawberry Fields Charity.
Strawberry Fields is an Italian non-profit organisation active in Ethiopia, with a particular commitment to education, primary care, and the development of healthcare infrastructure. Through its support of schools, orphanages, and educational initiatives, it works to create the conditions for long-term stability and opportunity.
Photographed by Marco Albizzati, The Ethiopian Gaze centres on the dignity of daily life. Rather than documenting deprivation, the works attend to presence, resilience, and human reciprocity.
Moving between portraiture and scenes of everyday life, the exhibition reflects on learning, growth, and continuity, offering an image of lived experience shaped not by distance, but by attention.
During the evening, it will also be possible to support the project for a primary hospital at ECUSTA – Higher Learning Institute, Addis Ababa.
